Individual therapy

Many people come on their own to therapy to work at managing their lives more effectively. They largely work at understanding what gets them stirred up and how to manage their emotional self in a more thoughtful way.

This may be related to how they manage themselves in their world, but also how they manage in their important relationships whether their partner or family or family of origin.

Couples Therapy

We are all drawn into relationships of one type or another. We are social beings. It can be challenging though how we manage ourselves in those relationships.

The dynamic tension between being for ourselves while also being for the relationship and our partner can create anxiety which can lead to symptoms. Whether the symptom is conflict between the two of you or one or other of you not functioning at your best, it interrupts meaningful intimacy.

family therapy and families in therapy

Whether it’s current challenges in your immediate family, a challenging parenting problem or a child who is struggling or whether it’s a challenging relationship with a parent or sibling from your family of origin, let’s talk.

It could also be a long standing issue from events that happened in your family of origin when you were younger that have yet to be resolved…
